2026 LTR Waitlist Contest

Please read the following giveaway rules and regulations (the “Rules”) prior to entry to ensure you understand and agree. You agree that submission of an entry in the 2026 LTR Waitlist Contest (the “Giveaway”) constitutes your agreement to these Rules. These Rules form a binding legal agreement between you and Themis Solutions Inc. (“Clio”) with respect to the Giveaway.

Key dates

  • Entry period: August 24, 2026 – October 25, 2026
  • Winner announcement: Winner will be announced live during the Insights from Clio’s Latest Legal Trends Report session at ClioCon, scheduled for October 26, 2026 at 1:00 PM EST. The winner will also be contacted via email on October 26, 2026 by 11:59 PM EST.
  • Deadline to claim prize: November 2, 2026
  • Deadline to schedule strategy session: November 2, 2026
  • Deadline to conduct strategy session: January 24, 2027

Giveaway details

The winner of the Giveaway will receive:

  • A one-hour virtual strategy session (via Zoom) with Ed Walters, Clio’s VP of Legal Innovation and Strategy, to be scheduled at a mutually agreed date and time (by January 24, 2027).

The Giveaway is open to eligible Clio customers and non-customers. Attendance at ClioCon is not required to enter or win and does not affect an entrant’s chances of winning.

Important prize notes

  • The total prize is valued at $US2,400 (the approximate retail value (“ARV”)).
  • The prize is not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred or sold for cash value.
  • The session is virtual and will be conducted via Zoom.
  • Scheduling is subject to Ed Walters’ availability. Clio will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the winner’s schedule but cannot guarantee a specific date or time.
  • If the session becomes unavailable for reasons beyond Clio’s control, Clio reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
  • The session is not considered official Clio consulting, legal advice, or professional-services engagement.
  • The winner is responsible for any taxes or other charges associated with acceptance or use of the prize, to the extent applicable.

Official Rules and Regulations

Eligibility requirements

  • Entrants must be 21 years of age or 18 years of age, respectively, or older and must be a resident of the United States of America or Canada (excluding Quebec) in order to be eligible for the Giveaway.
  • The following individuals are not eligible to participate:
    • Residents of Guam, Virgin Islands, or any unincorporated organized U.S. territory or unincorporated unorganized U.S. territory outside the continental United States of America.
    • Employees of Clio, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, Giveaway administrators, and ClioCon corporate sponsors.
    • Family members of Clio employees and ClioCon corporate sponsors (defined as spouse, parent, grandparent, child, sibling or in-laws).

How to enter

  • NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to enter or win. Making a purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
  • Entrants must complete and submit their name and email address through the form here, during the Entry Period. A completed waitlist signup constitutes one (1) entry.
  • Each individual is limited to one entry in this Giveaway. Entries will be tracked and tabulated by Clio. In the event of any discrepancy regarding the number of entries submitted by an individual, Clio’s records will serve as the final and conclusive evidence of the total entries by that entrant.
  • Clio is not responsible for lost, late misdirected, or incomplete entries; printing errors; server unavailability; or computer or any other electronic or telecommunications malfunction.
  • Clio reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without prior notice, to deem any entry or entrant ineligible where Clio reasonably determines that the entrants has not complied with these Rules, has tampered with the entry process or operation of the Giveaway, has used fraudulent means, or is otherwise ineligible.

Winner selection and notification

  • The winner will be selected in a random draw conducted by Clio from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period, on or about October 26, 2026. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  • The winner of the 2026 LTR Waitlist Contest will be announced via email on October 26, 2026 by 11:59 PM EST.
  • The winner will be contacted directly via the email address provided during entry.
  • The prize must be claimed by November 2, 2026 by 11:59 PM EST. Unclaimed prizes may be awarded to an alternate winner.
  • The prize is claimed by responding to the email to confirm receipt by November 2, 2026 by 11:59 PM EST.
  • Winners must make reasonable efforts to accommodate Ed’s schedule and book the session.
  • Winners must provide verification of their identity in order to claim the Prize. Clio reserves the right to examine additional identification and may choose to accept or deny awarding the Prize based on the identification presented.
  • Winners will be required to correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other assistance as a condition to receiving the prize.

Additional rules

  • The conduct of the Giveaway is governed by the applicable laws of the United States of America and Canada as well as any federal, state/provincial, or municipal laws which take precedence over any rule to the contrary herein.
  • Clio will not be liable for any lost or stolen entries, prizes or Giveaway information.
  • By participating in the Giveaway, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Clio personnel. Clio reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award any prize to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained unfair advantage in participating in the Giveaway, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means.
  • Clio will interpret these Rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Giveaway in its sole discretion. If the conduct or outcome of the Giveaway is affected by any errors, malfunctions, interference or event beyond Clio’s control, Clio reserves the right to terminate the Giveaway, or make alternate arrangements. All decisions will be made by Clio and are final and binding, subject to applicable law.
  • The approximate odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  • Personal information collected will only be used to administer the Giveaway, contact the winner, and manage the entrant’s LTR waitlist registration, in each case in accordance with Clio’s applicable privacy notice.
  • Clio reserves the right to withdraw or terminate this Giveaway at any time without prior notice.

Participant rights, releases, and waivers

By entering this Giveaway, participants agree to the following:

  • Media and promotional rights: Except where prohibited by law, participants authorize Clio to use their name, likeness, voice, photograph, and municipality of residence for promotional and advertising purposes in any media format without additional compensation, as Clio deems appropriate for promoting this Giveaway.
  • Release of liability: By participating in the Giveaway, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against Clio, its subsidiaries and affiliates, licensees, employees, officers, directors, representatives, successors, and assigns for any personal injury or loss that may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the Giveaway, or from the use of any prize.
  • General release: Each entrant (including their heirs, successors, and assigns) releases and discharges Clio and its related parties from all manner of action, causes of action, suits, claims, demands, liability, loss, cost or expense, of any nature whatsoever, known or unknown, fixed or contingent, which may arise from:
    • Any injuries or damages sustained as a result of participating in the Giveaway
    • Any use, incorporation or exploitation of the entry for purposes described herein
  • Waiver of injunctive relief: Entrants waive the right to seek injunctive relief against anyone relating to the entry, the Giveaway, or the use of materials for any purpose described in these rules.
  • Indemnification: Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clio from any liabilities, losses, claims, demands, costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), and expenses arising from any breach of representations made in connection with their entry.
